MARK TWAIN & YOUTH, a collection of twenty-six essays by some of the most widely recognized Mark Twain scholars writing today, will be published by Bloomsbury on July 28th. Edited by Kevin Mac Donnell and R. Kent Rasmussen, with a foreword by Hal Holbrook, the book traces a variety of youth themes in Mark Twain’s life and writings. Royalties from the sale of this book will be evenly divided among the Mark Twain Project at University of California, the Center for Mark Twain Studies at Elmira College, the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum in Hannibal, and the Mark Twain House and Museum at Hartford.
