This might fuel more vitriol for some of you against Ann Coulter, if
more can be produced.
From the June 13th Boston Metro, a rag of pedestrian diversion:
The political world's most irritating writer, ultra-conservative Ann
Coulter, is being accused of plagiarism. "Ann Coulter has a bad
habit. And that habit Š is that she appears to like to copy whole
sentences from other sources without putting them in as quotes or
even citing where she might have 'paraphrased' from," writes blogger
the Rude Pundit. The site goes on to point out several passages from
her book that appear to be lifted from other sources, such as this
one: "The massive Dickey-Lincoln Dam, a $227 million hydroelectric
project proposed on upper St. John River in Maine, was halted by the
discovery of the Furbish lousewort, a plant previously believed to be
extinct." The site then posts an excerpt from the Portland Press
Herald of Maine that includes the exact same line, word for word.
You'd think she'd copy something a little more interesting. Actually,
no you wouldn't.

As with any blog, one must hold a degree of objectivity, but then
again, that's how they got James Frey. Enjoy.
