Dear all,
I would like to indicate Walras's speech when he was appointed as Professor of Economics in 1871. In this speech, Walras criticized British classical economists. .
In Auguste et Léon Walras.

Subject: [SHOE] Important inaugural lectures
Dear SHOE List
I am thinking about putting together a volume of reprints of notable inaugural lectures in economics. Some lectures are self-selecting, such as Marshall's 'The Present Position of Economics'. I was wondering if the List has any suggestions as to which lectures should be considered for inclusion in such a volume and why?
Many thanks in advance.
All the best
Bob
