Cristina Marcuzzo, "Speculation in the Public Interest: Keynes, Kahn 
and Buffer Stocks"

Cristina Marcuzzo works on classical monetary theory (co-author of 
Ricardo and the Gold Standard, Macmillan, London 1991, co-editor of 
Monetary Standards and Exchange Rates, Routledge, London 1997; and 
articles  in various journals) and on the Cambridge School of 
Economics (co-editor of The Economics of Joan Robinson, Routledge, 
London, 1996 and of Economists in Cambridge, Routledge, London 2005; 
and several articles  in "Cambridge Journal of Economics", "Review of 
Political Economy, "History of Political Economy", "European Journal 
for the History of Economic Thought", "Review of Political Economy"). 
Currently she is editing  a collection of her papers on Keynes. She 
holds a First Degree in Philosophy (University of Milan) and MSc in 
Economics (London School of Economics). She was chair of the 
Economics Department at the University of Rome, la Sapienza 
(2001-2007), and is currently President of the European Society for 
the History of Economic Thought.
