I have been contacted by the editor of a literary magazine on
skating in the Netherlands called BLACK ICE. He is seeking
a copy of the text of Mark Twain's "A Curtain Lecture Concerning
Skating" which appeared in New York Sunday Mercury of March 17, 1867.
It was also privately reprinted in 1967 by Ralph Baldwin and
according to the bibliography in _Mark Twain's Letters, Vol. 2_,
it will appear in _Early Tales and Sketches, Vol. 3_ as item
#204 when that volume is released.

Does anyone have a readily available copy of the piece that could
be sent to this journalist?

Thanks,
Barb
