We know it was copyrighted in 1962, but when did Twain *write* "Letters
From The Earth?"

Also, I need to come up with a short biographical sketch of Twain,
written from the perspective of his being critical of religion. I am
content with the one by Thomas S. Vernon from the book "Great Infidels"
-- unless someone knows of a better one and chooses to point me to it.
