Dear AAO list member

The 'Archeion for Archivists' manual is now available from the AAO site in
French as well as English: http://tinyurl.com/6ov8887. The Archeion
Committee extends its thanks to Hélène Caron for her thorough and thoughtful
work on the translation of the manual.

Here are a few Archeion statistics about information added to the site in
the first half of 2012.
New fonds-level descriptions: 538
New descriptions at all levels: 2,034
New institutions joining Archeion: 23
New authority files for people/organizations: 910
Digital objects added: 105

Use of the Archeion site
Unique visitors: 21,301
Page views: 181,790
Most popular repository page: United Church of Canada Archives
Most popular description: Kydd Memorial Presbyterian Church, Montreal

And just a reminder that the AAO is paying for each Archeion contributor to
have up to 1 gigabyte of storage space for digital objects, which is enough
to hold around 2,000 low-resolution images.

All best,

Amanda
