Kent,
I make no claim for my teaching credentials or talents. As far as my fiction
goes, I could point you to sites where it's flamed and some where it's
praised. I make no claim for my abilities as a writer, editor, or for that matter,
for my status in the MT community, if there is such a thing. I respect your
right or anyone's right, to hold and express whatever opinion they wish, even
if I may not respect the opinion itself. But none of this is to the point,
is it?
What I see here is a group that has a certain proprietary feeling of turf,
and wants to exclude those it disagrees with. It's not unusual on the
Internet. You say I've "crossed the line," but what line? Where is the set of rules
you refer to? Please send me a copy. I've been accused of personal attack but
I have made none. If the moderator, Kevin, feels I've crossed the line, he
has not let me know chapter & verse. Why the dump job? Because I use a term now
and then outlawed by the pathologically-correct crowd? This hardly seems
rational.
