Dear Floris,
I would start by looking at Bruce Kaufman's work on the history of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations and Paul McNulty's "The Origins and Development of Labor Economics".
Albert Rees' papers are located at Duke's Archives (Economists Papers Project).
best wishes,
Pedro Teixeira

Dear Colleagues,
I'm interested in life and work of Albert Rees (1921-1992), but have thus far only discovered a few obituaries. Would anyone know of more substantial historical treatments of Rees, or of histories in which he figures? I'd be most grateful for any suggestions you would be able to provide.
With best regards,
Floris Heukelom
