In 1957 E.P. Panagopoulos wrote: 'It is very unfortunate that little
if any research has yet been made on the influence of Malachy
Postlethwayt on the economic thought of American statesmen during the
last quarter of the eighteenth century'.

Could anybody point me to any substantial research that may have been
done since to fill the gap identified by Panagopoulos? I have been
able to find only some minor additions to his study of the influence
of Postlethwayt on Alexander Hamilton.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
