On 24th of September, past and present editors of The Economist meet
at UCL to discuss the recent history of the publication. They will
talk about political economy, cosmopolitanism and global media.

The panelists are
Andrew Knight (editor in 1974–86)
Rupert Pennant-Rea (editor in 1986–93)
Bill Emmott (editor in 1993–2006)
Zanny Minton Beddoes (current editor)

The conversation is moderated by
Ruth Dudley Edwards
(author of The Pursuit of Reason, The Economist 1843-1993)

The venue is Darwin’s B40 Lecture Hall, and the times are 10:00 to 11:45
