Extremely satisfying to see the Library of Congress respond like this.
However, I'm hoping to hear next that they are withdrawing the book full
of errors and copyright infractions, and are commissioning our exports who
have expended so much effort vetting the book to fix it....fully
acknowledged of course. I can't help wondering how Mr. Lapham is reacting
to this situation. His endorsement demonstrates that there is a need for
such a colorful fully illustrated glance into Mark Twain. Surely this book
could
be repaired and reissued.
I hope
