Dear all, 

Ivan Moscati (University of Insubria) will speak on Wednesday, 12 November at the HPPE seminar of LSE's Economic History Department. The title of his paper is: "The debate on the measurability of von Neumann and Morgenstern's utility function, 1944-1954".

The seminar takes place from 1-2:30pm, in room CLM 2.04 and is open to all with an interest in the history of economics.

About Ivan: 
Ivan Moscati is associate professor of economics at the University of Insubria, Varese, and teaches history of economic thought at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy. His research focuses on the history and methodology of choice theory, and he is completing a book on the history of utility measurement in economics for Oxford University Press.
