I've found Brenner, Day & Ness (eds.) "The Encyclopedia of Strikes in American History" (2009) to be a pretty comprehensive resource.

It's not recent, bur Philip Foner's History of the Labor Movement in the United States (a multi-volume work) is pretty comprehensive, as far as it goes. Some listings here: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=Philip+Foner&sts=t&tn=History+of+the+Labor+Movement+in+the+United+States

Subject: [SHOE] History of labor movement demands
Dear Colleagues,

Does anyone know of an article or book that summarizes in a comprehensive manner the historical demands of labor movements? Has anyone attempted to do an empirical study of worker demands to reveal their relative importance historically or cross-culturally?

Thanks for any assistance.

Sincerely,

Michael Cauvel
