Dear Alan,
	Your question is fair.  Alas, I cannot oblige right away, if at all.  The original French volumes, and the English "pony" to which I sometimes resorted, rest in grandfather's old library in Vermont, 3,000 miles from my present residence in Redlands, CA.  
	It is possible that I will get back there this spring for my brother's memorial, in which case I will search for the answer.  Meantime I am copying my brother's widow and the executrix of his will, to look around, although they are fully occupied now with the sad business of settling his estate.
	El and Ann, the French version is in six small volumes, bound in white; the pony is in two volumes, bound in red. They were in the bookcase at the head of the main stairway, 2nd shelf from the top.
