The earlier call for nominations contained two factual errors.

Executive Committee members serve for 3 years, and the next Elected Vice-President will be organizing HES sessions at the January 2014 ASSA meetings. Current VP Harro Maas is already gainfully employed organizing the January 2013 sessions.

Thanks to all who pointed out the errors of my ways. Fortunately for the Society, I am only soliciting names, not counting ballots.

The HES Nominations Committee (Avi Cohen, Pedro Duarte, Sherry Kasper) invites nominations for the elected officers of the society. 

We are accepting nominations for President, Vice-President, and 2 elected members of the Executive Committee. 

The President and Vice-President serve one-year terms, the Executive Committee members serve three-year terms. The President is responsible for organizing the annual HES conference for June 2013, and the Vice-President is responsible for organizing HES sessions at the ASSA meetings in January 2014. The Executive Committee members are expected to attend meetings at the HES annual conference and the ASSA meetings.
