For an argument against the rationality of the Rawlsian project
on economic grounds, see Israel Kirzner, _Discovery, Capitalism, and
Distributive Justice_. In Kirnzer's view it does matter to the
persuasive failure of the Rawlsian project that it is grounded in a
unjustifiable picture of resource use coordination in an extended society.
