If anyone's genealogical research has disclosed any connections between 
Mark Twain and the Jacobowitz[es] of Lodz [Poland] or with the Hoffmans 
of  Minsk [Russia], both later of The Bronx [New York], I'd be most 
delighted and appreciative.
