Laurence S. Moss, past president of the History of Economics Society
(1994-95) and editor of The American Journal of Economics and Sociology,
passed away on February 24, 2009 (info at Boston.com).

During Larry's term as the president of HES, the HES email list (now
re-labelled SHOE) was launched.
