I recently received a request through the HES "Ask the Professor" service  
for a list of references on the history of business cycle theory. While I  
directed the requester (a grad student) toward a few resources that would  
provide an access point to the larger literature on the subject, I also  
thought I would post the request here, with the intention of gathering a  
list from HES participants. The list would be available on the "Ask  
the Professor" web site for other students who might be writing papers on  
this topic. 
 
Responses can be directed either to me personally or to the list (I am  
currently moderating the list). I will collect them and create one list  
which will be posted on HES and made available on the "Ask the Prof"  
web site.
