Can't help with this [Sraffa] query, but I have a related anecdote for 
which I 
would like confirmation if possible. 
 
The story is that Kaldor had sent his apologies for not appearing 
at one of Keynes's seminars, bacuase of a sporting injury. Keynes replied, 
"Sporting injury?! Next you'll be telling me that Piero has writer's 
cramp."
