In the Sunday Denver Post, William Porter's  review of Roddy Doyle's "A Star
Called Henry" compares the Irish boy who is coming of age in the novel to
Huck Finn.  "Like Huck Finn...who also lived by his wits--Henry will also
light out for the territory."

The final Candlestick Park program of the San Francisco Giants (who are
moving to a new downtown ballpark, not lighting out for the territory)
includes the following which the editor has the good sense to acknowledge as
apocryphal:
"'The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer night at Candlestick
Park,'Mark Twain might have said if the Giants had moved West in his day"
