Hello, I've been lurking here for some time and have decided to break my
silence. Has anybody ever read the article by Kathryn Lindskoog regarding
the
connection between Twain and George MacDonald? It is located online at:

http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/plaza/ev90481/md_twain.htm

I thought the idea of mutual influence was fascinating, especially given the
apparently extremely different styles of these two writers. The two did
correspond and even meet once or twice (more?), and Twain and his family
were
big fans of MacDonald's "At the Back of the North Wind."

I would love to discuss further some of the issues that Lindskoog brings up
in her article. Thanks.
