OHS Reach Project Webinar:

The Secrets to Strategic Success:
Strategic Planning for Small Organizations

Tuesday, June 7, 2016
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (EDT)

Where: Online
Cost: $10 OHS members, $20 non-members.

Strategic planning can sound like a daunting task, but it doesn't have
to be. A sound plan is essential to defining and meeting your
organization's goals; attracting funding; and ensuring that your
board, members, partners and community are clear on what your
organization does, and why you do it.

Join consultant Kim Pittaway, who is working on the Ontario Historical
Society's strategic plan, for insights on how to tackle your planning
logically, inclusively, and effectively. Kim will focus on planning
strategies for small organizations and recognizing the time
constraints and other challenges faced by volunteer boards in carrying
out such planning.

Webinar FAQ

-What is a webinar?

A webinar is a training session done entirely online. Participants are
sent a web link in order to join the webinar, which lets them watch
the presentation while listening to the speaker. There is no need to
travel - you can join a webinar from the comfort of your own home!

-What kind of computer is needed to participate?

Most modern computers are equipped with the necessary components to
participate in our webinars - you can join from your desktop computer,
laptop, tablet or mobile device! In general, you need to have speakers
and a moderately fast internet connection. You do not need a
microphone to participate, as you'll just be listening in rather than
speaking!

test whether your computer will accept our webinar software, called
GoToWebinar, click here.
