I like what "country comic" Jerry Clower from Yazoo City, Mississippi used
to
say about his own story telling, "I don't tell funny stories; I tell stories
funny."

btw, Jerry passed away just a couple of weeks ago.  Any chance for a
posthumous
award in the future?  He, like Twain had opinions on politics, religion,
education, et al.  He once told me, "I ain't neutral on nothin'."
