The 1931 version of _Huckleberry Finn_, which stars Junior Durkin
and Jackie Coogan, is scheduled for broadcast on the morning of
May 31 on a cable channel called Encore Plus. People interested
in film adaptations of Mark Twain's works may wish to tape the
film if they have access to that channel; it's a film that rarely
appears on television. In fact, in my five years of combing weekly
television listings in the Los Angeles area, it is the first time
that I have seen the film listed.
