Qualifications/ Other Information Duties: The Population Health Priorities
program of the Population Health & Research Department is seeking an
experienced Researcher. The Researcher is responsible for conducting complex
data analyses and reporting (in a variety of formats) comprehensive
interpretation to meet diverse needs, developing preliminary policy
statements, preparing project proposals, and functioning in a lead project
management role. The Researcher provides senior level research expertise for
the Population Health Priorities initiatives and assists with planning.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytic
skills combined with exemplary synthesis and interpretation skills. The
incumbent must possess knowledge of the health system, with a particular
emphasis on population health, awareness of policy development and
implementation, and a strategic focus. A relevant Master`s degree with an
emphasis on biostatistics and epidemiology is required, as well as three
years of progressive experience in a lead research role. Recent experience
with research/evaluation of public health initiatives, including familiarity
with evaluation of policy initiatives is preferred. Also essential is
training in SPSS, reporting tools, spreadsheets, word processing and
Internet access, along with the ability to manipulate/analyze large
databases. A valid driver`s license is also necessary. Who Can Apply Open to
