The Mark Twain Circle of America is organizing a session for SAMLA 2016, November 4-6, 2016, in Jacksonville Florida. The session is entitled "Mark Twain in Heaven and Hell." This panel welcomes papers that deal with Mark Twain's life and/or work as it relates to the idea of heaven and hell, drawing on the biography, the autobiography, his fiction, or his nonfiction.
