====================== HES POSTING =================

This message is relevant only to those who use the Bristol mirror of
Rod Hay's WWW document archive, or the HET Newsletter and ESHET
Newsletter WWW sites. It is relevant only if you have failed to reach
the site in the last couple of days, or if you fail the next time you
try. It is a 'just in case' message - you should have no problems, but
if you do, this message may help.
The web sites have moved to a different and faster server. The
addresses:
http://www.ecn.bris.ac.uk/het/index.htm
http://www.ecn.bris.ac.uk/het1/index.htm
http://www.ecn.bris.ac.uk/het1/eshet/index.htm
have moved with the site, and should still work as usual. You will only
have a problem if you are using a pointer or bookmark which uses the
actual server name (was fisher, is now ysidro - the name ysidro
surprises some, but HESers will recognize it as Edgeworth's middle
name) or the IP number (now increased by one in the last digit). This
can happen with software which is too clever for its own good. If you
have trouble, reset the connection to the addresses given above. Do not
use the server name or IP number, or you will be caught the next time
the site moves. Any further problems - mail me.
