Folks; I have a bunch of copies of the Hokkaido journal of AmLit, in which
my essay appears -- this one:
“Nakeder than Adam and Eve”: ‘Systemless System’ and Theodicy in the New
Edition of the *Autobiography of Mark Twain,” **Hokkaido American
Literature *29 (summer 2013): 2-27.
I would be very happy to send, at no cost, a copy of the journal to anyone
who might like to have it. I apologize for what may seem heartless
self-promotion: but my good colleague in Hokkaido University, Jun Senaha,
sent me a dozen copies and I'm cleaning my office out a little over the
summer, and it does seem heartless just to toss them all.
The essay has some similarities with the talk I gave in Elmira, last
summer; and also of the chapter of my book on grief, coming out in 2015; so
some of you might recall that stuff.
Anyone interested??? just send me a mailing address...
