Affected by Flooding

Many of you have been worried about the status of the City of Calgary
Archives and I am happy to announce that their holdings have not been
affected by the flood. We have yet to hear about the status of 3 archival
institutions - 2 in Calgary and 1 in High River.

Subject: ASA Announcement on the Status of Archives in Areas Affected by
Flooding

Apologies for cross posting.

The Archives Society of Alberta has 21 member archival institutions located
in the areas of the province that have been affected by the floods. The
members we have been able to contact have not had significant damage due to
the flooding; however, we are still waiting to hear from 5 institutions.
These institutions are in the locations of Calgary and High River. We will
let the community know of any developments in these areas.

Thank you to everyone who has contacted us in support of the situation.

Rene
