Members of this list will be saddened to learn of the death of Gilles Dostaler, 
my senior colleague and fellow historian of economics at the Université du Québec 
à Montréal.   After a brave battle with cancer, Gilles passed away early on 
Saturday morning, February 26th.  He will be sorely missed by his partner 
Marielle, his family and friends, and his colleagues in the international 
community.
