Susan, I can attest that Ian will be a great resource. He held the U.S. book launch for his book in which he retraced Clemens' steps in today;s war-torn Holy Land, Innocence and War, here at the Mark Twain House in Hartford last fall and also spoke in Hannibal -- and he's coming back to Hartford for our "Trouble Begins at 5:30" lecture series (now monthly) on November 13 to speak on Mark Twain's Equator, the book he's now launching out West under the auspices of the English-Speaking Union. The book, like the first, is fascinating (I got a copy via his UK publisher) and his presentations are delightful -- a mix of lecture, Power Point and narrated video from the scene. Plus he's an extremely nice guy.
