The Mark Twain Library's 100th Anniversary is this Saturday, October 11th.
There are a number of events planned but the highlight for us history buffs
is Dan Cruson's lecture entitled "The Impact of Mark Twain in Connecticut"
at 2:45pm. It is a fully illustrated powerpoint presentation on the effect
that Connecticut had on Twain as a writer, and the impact that he had on the
communities in which he lived -- Hartford and Redding -- including his
unique architectural contributions. A reception will follow the talk.

Phone: (203) 938-2545 or E-Mail: [log in to unmask] to reserve a
spot.

Location: 439 Redding Rd. (corner of Route 53 and Diamond Hill Rd.) in
Redding, CT
