I apologize for my recent short message, which I thought I was sending
privately to Kevin B. Not the first time I have sent a private message
to
the whole list!
The announcement: I just got back from the post office, where I sent
off my
final issue as editor of the Mark Twain Annual to the printer. They say
4-6
weeks, and I sure hope it's the lesser number, or even sooner. I thank
subscribers for their patience, but I think it will be rewarded with an
especially interesting and provocative issue. And it's not too soon to
send
in submissions to the new editor, Ann Ryan . . . the 2008 annual will
actually come out in the fall, on time, as promised!
