Dear colleague,
Despite what Schelle has decided, it is very likely that Turgot  wrote, at least as co- author, Le Conciliateur, and it is certain that he wrote other texts in favor of religious tolerance and that he, as many other supporters of religious tolerance, was not a mason. On the question of religious tolerance 
and the related question of the veil in the public sphere French masons are not particularly tolerant in year 2019 and are as far as I know quite different from British masons.
