The History of Economics Society’s 2013-14 Nominating Committee—Robert 
Dimand (Chair), Judy Klein, and Maria Pia Paganelli—invites HES members to 
suggest nominations for the offices of President-Elect,
  Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Society, and for at-large 
membership of the Executive Committee.

The President-Elect will hold that office for one year, commencing in June 
2014, and is responsible for organizing the annual HES conference for June 
2015. This individual will assume the office of President for one year, 
beginning in June 2015 and will continue to serve on the HES Executive 
Committee as a Past President for the two years following the Presidency.

The HES Vice-President serves a one-year term and is responsible for 
organizing HES sessions at the ASSA meetings in January 2016.

The Society has benefited greatly from outstanding and dedicated service 
from its Secretary, Thomas (Tim) Leonard, and its Treasurer, Neil Niman. 
Tim and Neil have informed the Executive Committee that
it is time to look for their successors, and the Nominating Committee 
invites inquiries, suggestions, and expressions of interest.

The Executive Committee members are expected to attend meetings at the HES 
annual conference and the ASSA meetings.
