Dear Forum Members,
The Fall 2014 issue of the Mark Twain Journal is now in the mail. It contains a tribute to the lifetime scholarship of Larry Berkove, a detailed description of Clemens's friendship with Nikola Tesla, an article by Kevin Mac Donnell about a misunderstood hoax Clemens perpetrated in 1856, an interview with Mark Twain educator McAvoy Layne, and essays by Jeanne Campbell Reesman, Stefan Kehlenbach, Matt Seybold, John Lockwood, and Michael H. Marleau.
We have already selected the contents for the Spring 2015 issue, but there is still space left in the Fall 2015 issue and the Mark Twain Journal would welcome submissions.
We remain grateful to our many subscribers and invite everyone to view our modest rates and survey our back issues at www.marktwainjournal.com.
Many thanks,
Alan
