Dear fellow Twainiacs,
    I'm curious, in light of the devastation now in our midst, vis-a-vis the
Galveston storm of 1900, if our Sam ever wrote anything about it.
    All answers shall be greatly appreciated.
    Also, for those involved in projects such as "One Book, One City," I
think we ought to take it national with "Isaac's Storm." It's a slim but
meaty
account of events leading up to that horror, when politics got in the way of
common sense. A backup could be David McCullough's chronicle of the
Johnstown
flood, where class was added to the toxic political mess already in place.
    It's merely an idea, but the forum might do some good with it, somehow.
    All thoughts and opinions are welcome.
