I have upgraded my site from drupal 7 to drupal 8.  This was a m
ajor change in system architecture.  I believe most of the original
paths remain the same but some links may be broken, for any of you that
have links to my original site.  I have removed the logic for operating
as an on-line course.  It remains a reference site for the travels of
Samuel L. Clemens, aka Mark Twain.  The emphasis is on observing social
and physical phenomena related to the on-set of industrialization.  One
major improvement is the inclusion of more maps.  This is best seen in
parts of the section on the Twain-Cable Tour.  Drupal mapping modules
have advanced to the point where I can display the train routes
followed by  these "Twins of Genius".  Such maps on the earlier version
of this site were screen captures of Google Earth displays.
