_What is Man?_, please respond directly to the sender of this message. Thank

Dear Sir,

I don't want to send inappropriate post to the Twain list (and don't
know if this is one). This summer I saw "What is man?" in a used book
store, read a couple of pages and told myself I would try using some
parts of the book with my students. I thought finding a french
translation would be easy. The person responsible for the inter-library
loans of my college told me yesterday she had not been able to find a
french translation, nor was there a "Complete Works" edition in french
somewhere in her database. She usually finds even obscure titles.

Do you know if "What is man" has ever been translated in french?

I am a professor of philosophy in a college in Sherbrooke, Quebec,
Canada.

Thanks
