The *Cleveland Review of Books *asked me to review Percival Everett's new
adaptation of *Huckleberry Finn*. I specifically tried to address Everett's
novel from the perspective of a Twain scholar, although obviously the book
invites numerous other modes of interpretation.

FWIW, I think the novel is a triumph and I hope that it's popularity will
be very good for Twain Studies. Everett is clearly a very serious reader
and admirer of Twain.
