Call for Papers
XII International Economic History Congress
Pre-conference for the A-Session:
The Biological Standard of Living and Economic Development.
Anthropometric Measures, Nutrition, Health and Well-Being in Historical
Perspective.
The Executive Committee of the International Economic History Association
has approved the inclusion of an A-Session under the above title in the
programme for the XII Congress, to be held in August 1998 in Seville
(Spain).
According to the Association's practice, a preparatory colloquium will be
held in January 18-21 1997 in Munich. Some funding will be available to
defray the costs of participation.
Scholars working in this field are encouraged to submit one copy of their
papers to each of the organizers. A selection of the received papers will
be made on the basis of their merits, novelty, and adequacy to the
session's topic. The papers selected will be discussed in Munich, a
revised version may be published, and an abstract will be included in the
Congress proceedings.
Mail submissions as soon as possible to
