Does this not amount to saying that you do not see the value of
history? To construct the history of economics it is important to
understand what was taught and how it was taught, whatever that was.
As this is a history of economics forum, I will not express any view
on whether it is wisdom or folly to teach students to understand the
Coase theorem.
