I am trying to complete plans for spending the research $$$ I have been
provided this summer and am asking for suggestions from Bancroft Library
veterans . . .

Specifically--any suggestions for best places to stay at Berkeley for 7-14
days of work at MT Papers??  I will be out there around the 1st 2 weeks of
August.  I want a pretty nice room within walking distance of the Library
and whatever is the main drag of the school (whatever that might be).  And
I want to stretch the mony while having a comfortable room.  PS--my school
frowns upon room over $100 a night.
