In response to Wesley Britton's question about when and if SLC met Oscar WIlde:
 Susy Clemens described the meeting briefly in a letter to Louise Brownell.  I
don't have the correspondence in front of me as I write this, but I have the
tiny memory of this meeting taking place in Germany in 1892, perhaps in Berlin.
