Hello Forum Persons:
In response to Kevin Mac Donnell's post about the 1855 Bohn edition of
Exemplary Novels:
In the Mark Twain Project's newest edition of Huckleberry Finn
(2001 & 2003) we mention in passing (pages 388-89) the possible influence
of "Cervantes's picaresque novel about the adventures of two boys,
Rinconete and Cortadillo," which is included in Exemplary Novels.
Best wishes,
Lin Salamo, Associate Editor, Mark
Twain Project
