Colleagues.

Can I inform you that for a modest $50 US a year you can become a
member of the History of the Economic Thought Society of Australia.
This entitles you to membership of the society and concessional
attendance fees at our annual HETSA conference held in July and
usually held in a capital city on the Australian mainland. Also, and
importantly, the membership fee entitles you to receive the History
of Economics Review (two issues per annum) one of the six specialist
journals committed to the edification of the history of economic
thought. This journal is one of the very few published and managed by
the its own academic society instead of professional publishers. It
explains the very attractive price for what is a quality journal. The
next issue of HER which will be No 50 is due out in December.

You can look at previous issues of HER by googling HETSA. The web
site is managed by the Australian National University. HETSA has been
in existence since 1981 and is strictly a non profit organisation
dedicated to the promotion of the history of economic thought. We
have 140 Austrlain members and 180 overseas members.

If you would like to join us please email me
