I'm not familiar with the Dover edition, but if it has all the original illustrations, then it gets a nod. The edition that is part of the Oxford Mark Twain reprints the first edition, and the illustrations are some of the most interesting in all of Twain's work. Someone with more experience can explain the advances in print technology that made these sophisticated images possible.

Dover has a good paperback edition, with all the original illustrations.
