Dear friends,
Could anybody tell me if there is any study/research on the reception of Bryson's
Oeconomica (the "Oeconomica Galen") in Latin Europe?
(Other than Martin Plessner's book (Der οίκονομικός des Neupythagores
Bryson und sein Einfluss auf die islamische Wissenschaft, 1928), unfortunately I
don't read German)
Or do you know if there is something done on the transmission of Xenophone's Oeconomica
or on the appearance of texts on "domestic economics" in Latin Europe?
(I mean medieval or early modern Latin Europe)
Thanks a lot,
All the best,
Olivia Orozco
